2009

In 2009 we had a very “full” season. While starting in 600 class and 1000 class we accumulated track experience all over Europe. The team consisted of Bo (#62, Yamaha R1) and Hampus (#20, Yamaha R6) and together over 150 hours of track time was collected.
Resulting in the end in a very good routine in changing tyres. Partly high, and partly silly, temperatures made for a constant fight against tyre wear as well as dehydration.

More often than not we came back to the box with throughout soaked leathers resulting in “salt rims” in the leather the next day. We even noticed salt marks on the bikes… On the other hand.

Anyone perverse enough to hop into a full underwear plus 7 kg of leather and helmet and then go out and do 30 minutes of power-aerobatics in the sun when it is 35°C already in the shadow should have it coming. We occasionally noticed tarmac temperatures of over 70°C.
